IDL 7.0: LSU Overview
General Information
IDL 7.0 is a software program designed to analyze data or imagery. College students who plan to become scientists, researchers, or data analysts may find this program to be very useful. Students involved in classes such as physics, medicine, computer science, astronomy and earth sciences may also benefit from the program. IDL 7.0 makes it easier to convert intricate data into information. Utilizing IDL 7.0 gives the user a great amount of analysis and visualization control.
Availability
This software product is available to LSU Faculty, Students, & Staff once purchased via departmental request. It can be accessed through a department that has purchased it; please contact your department's IT team for further information.
This software is no longer available via VLab and will need to be purchased on request per department.
