Computer Labs: Logging into a Lab Computer


If you are an LSU Student encountering difficulties signing in to the computers in the Public Access Labs, follow these steps:

1. Check the Domain.

It should be set to LSU. This is the only domain students will be granted access to when signing in at the Campus Labs.

Use your MyLSU Account username and password when signing in to all campus computers.

2. If you are still having difficulty signing in, it may be due to not routinely changing your MyLSU Account Password.

LSU requires ALL users to change their password every 3 months (or if it is more secure, 6 months). Once you change your password, it should take 30 minutes to 2 hours to process.

3. If you are still experiencing difficulty after changing your password, contact the IT Service Desk by calling (225) 578-3375.
