Transcript vs. College Record
- A Transcript is an official document with a limit to the number that you can print for FREE. (Additional documents are available for a nominal fee.)
** NOTE: Students cannot email their LSU transcripts to email addresses on the @lsu.edu domain.
- Former LSU Students: (No Active myLSU ID Required.)
- Current LSU Students: (Active myLSU ID Required.)
- A College Record is an un-official document that provides you with the same information that is found on the Transcript document. You can print a College Record when an Official Transcript is not required.
** NOTE: This document contains the same information as the Transcript and it is always FREE.
- Current LSU Students: (Active myLSU ID Required.)
Request a Transcript in the myLSU Portal
1. Log into the myLSU Portal.
2. On the left hand panel, select Student Services | Transcript Request.

3. Select a Campus and click Continue. (LSU Main Campus Students will select LSU.)

4. Select Transcript Delivery Method and When To Send It.

5. If you select Electronic delivery, your only option to send it is Now. However, if you select a US or International Mailing address, then you will have 3 sending options - Next Business Day, Hold for Distance Education Grades, and Hold for Current Semester Grades.

6. If you selected a mailing address, enter it on the next screen. Please do not include City or State, as this is automatically filled in once you provide the zip code. Click Continue when finished, and follow the instructions to request your transcript.
