AutoCAD: Student Download

General Information

AutoCAD is available to LSU Students with a .lsu.edu e-mail address. AutoCAD is NOT available to students to download from TigerWare; however, students can sign up for a FREE Account which grants Academic Access to FREE Software & Serial Numbers for programs.

The Software License Agreement allows a user to only install Autodesk software on a single computer.
 

Create an Autodesk Account

1. Open a Web Browser.

2. Browse to Students.autodesk.com/.

3. Sign up for a FREE Autodesk Account.

NOTE:  Each Education Community Member is issued ONLY One Serial Number for that version within a 13-month period. 
 

Installation Information

1. The installation file can be downloaded as many times as you want from the website after you register for an Account.

2. Without a serial number, the downloaded file will only work for a 30-day trial period.

3. This Account gives users access to 25 Downloads for each product.
