Adobe Creative Cloud (or "Adobe CC") is a suite of products, services, and tools that together allow for many utilities across all kinds of projects, from creative to administrative.

With Creative Cloud, users can: Create across desktop, mobile, and cloud services; Easily share assets across your apps and teams; Accelerate the design process with Adobe Stock and Adobe Fonts; and Manage the enterprise and work securely.

Getting Started

For determining eligibility to access Adobe CC and the two types of licenses, please see Adobe CC: Frequently Asked Questions.

For learning more about the products offered by Adobe CC, please scroll down to the "Additional Information" section.

Warning about Adobe Cloud Storage:

All users are recommended to use current enterprise storage solutions, i.e. Microsoft OneDrive or Box, for storing any and all content developed through Adobe Creative Cloud. Although Adobe offers a cloud storage service, there are limited to no controls available for data retention or retrieval, so in the event a user becomes ineligible for Adobe licenses, they will immediately lose access to Adobe Cloud Storage, and ITS will not be able to assist the user or the department with data retrieval.

Download & Installation

Eligible employees can download and install Adobe CC (Named User Licenses) on their machines including personal machine. It should be noted that the Named User License can be installed and activated on two devices at any given point for a single user; however, only one device can be used at a time.

NOTE: Students, please review Adobe CC: Frequently Asked Questions on how to gain access to Adobe Named User License.

  • As of Fall 2023, students have become eligible for this type of license. Please see #4 under "Who is eligible for Named User Licenses?" in the Adobe FAQ to learn more.
  • This requires preauthorization to access, i.e. your account must have appropriate permission to download the installation files.

Users with myLSU account can access Adobe CC by logging onto a physical lab PC (Shared Device Licenses) with the Adobe suite installed. It will not be available on VLab.

Make sure you have determined eligibility for the Named User license before attempting to download the file.
