Tableau Server Site Admin – Grant Users Access to Your Tableau Server Site
This article has not been updated recently and may contain dated material.
**All users need to be in the LSU Active Directory in order to login to Tableau Server. As a Tableau Server Site Admin, you will need to complete the following process.**
1. Log in to tableau.lsu.edu with your myLSU credentials.
2. Click Users on the menu bar at the top.

3. Click Add Users to select Active Directory User options.

4. Enter the user's myLSU ID without @lsu.edu. Select Explorer for the site role and click Import Users.

Please note: Most of your users will only need the Explorer site role to see the contents of your site. Explore (can publish) is for a developer with a Tableau Desktop license to publish their work to the site.
**If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the ITS Service Desk.**
