VLab 2.0: Engineering Desktop Legacy

The Engineering Desktop Legacy allows access to the following programs:

Autodesk 2015:

  • AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Raster Design, AutoCAD Structural Detailing, AutoCAD Utility Design, Autodesk 3ds Max Design, Autodesk Application Manager, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Backburner, Autodesk Data Management, Autodesk Factory Design Utilities, Autodesk InfraWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Mechanical Simulation Jo..., Autodesk Mudbox, Autodesk ReCap, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, Autodesk Showcase, Autodesk Simulation Mechanical, Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Adviser, Content Service, DWG TrueView, Navisworks Exporters, Navisworks Manage, Revit, Simulation CFD, Subassembly Composer.

  • SolidWorks 2014, ANSYS 17 (NOTE: Professor must grant specific access to use this software)
     

To Access the ArcGIS Desktop in VLab 2.0:

1. Open VLab.

2. Login to the LSU Server (for help, use the following GROK article: VLab 2.0: Starting a Session in Windows).

3. Double-click vlab2.lsu.edu to login.

4. Select Engineering Desktop Legacy from the list.

5. You should now be logged into the Engineering Desktop Legacy.
